This legacy endpoint returns a {"code", "data"} body instead of the standard status/response envelope. It lists visible countries linked to the special-number catalog and does not check stock.
For new integrations:
- Use
GET /v3/getcountriesto find countries with numbers in stock. - Use
GET /v3/other/{isocode}to see which special number types are actually offered in a country. A country listed here can still return an empty catalog there.
Request
Required: HTTP Basic or Bearer token (see Authentication and API responses). Failed authentication is answered with HTTP 401 in the standard envelope before the lookup runs.
GET with no parameters and no body.
curl --user "$API_USER:$API_PASSWORD" 'https://api.multitel.net/v3/countries'Response
Legacy body without the standard envelope: {code: 200, data: [...]}. There is no status object, msg or results field. data lists countries in no guaranteed order. Fields: countrycode (calling code without '+'), name, description (same value as name), isocode, latitude and longitude. There are no is_mobile, sms_coverage or next_function fields. A country is listed when it is visible and linked to the special-number catalog. Stock is not checked, so a listed country may currently have no numbers available. If no country qualifies, data is null.
Illustrative response shape; not live account data or a current quote.
