Get started in three steps

  1. Open Passwords, choose a strong vault passphrase and store your recovery code securely.

  2. Unlock the vault and add a login with its HTTPS website.

  3. Use personal or shared storage and connect a supported app when needed.

What it costs

No separate subscription for MultiOTP, SMS Chat, Browser Chat App, Browser AutoFill or Password Vault. Phone-number rental and applicable SMS/MMS usage, registration and carrier charges still apply.

Before you start

  • Resetting your portal password does not unlock the vault. Keep your vault passphrase and recovery code safe.
  • Do not share a recovery code as a way to share one login; use a separate shared vault.
  • Passwords, recovery codes and device-pairing codes must remain private.

Use a rented MultiTEL number for website verification and receive short-lived codes on connected browsers and phones. Give coworkers access to selected numbers when you need to share a login workflow.
