Channels and minutes answer different questions

Channels count simultaneous calls. Minutes measure usage across the billing period. Two included channels do not mean two unlimited calls forever, and the 100,000-minute allowance does not provide unlimited concurrency.

  1. With one or two concurrent inbound calls, the included channels use the package allowance.
  2. With a third concurrent inbound call and overflow enabled, the additional call is metered at the offer’s inbound rate.
  3. Once the monthly included allowance is exhausted, inbound use is metered at the overage rate.
  4. To reject additional concurrent calls rather than accept metered overflow, review Channel Overflow in Number inventory and disable it where offered. Test the busy/overflow destination after saving.

Metered numbers and outbound calls

A metered offer with zero dedicated channels charges inbound minutes at its displayed rate. Compare both offers against your typical monthly minutes and busiest concurrent-call period. The inbound plan does not set your account’s outbound channel allowance or make outbound calls free.

For an existing number, review its own plan in Number inventory. New catalogue offers do not automatically replace existing subscriptions.
